A little bit about me.
I'm Jerry, a lifelong Californian with a passion for learning. My journey into tech stems from a diverse background of experience. As a welder and drafter, I learned about design and precision and refined my eye for layout. My desire to work more directly with people led me to university where I studied psychology. During this time I worked in customer service and education, and developed my love for collaboration, problem solving, and helping others.
Growing up near Silicon Valley, the tech industry was ever present. Since I have always had a curiosity about new fields and engaging my creativity, a career in technology seemed like a natural next step. I appreciate the opportunity and versatility within the tech industry. Now you'll find me pursuing a career as a front-end developer. I enjoy using my creativity and attention to detail to write clean and responsive code and I hope my portfolio peaks your interest.
